He is increasing your endurance to tarry in His presence
In revelation 8:4, we see a mixture of incense and the prayers of the saints  ascending before God as a sweet smelling aroma. As such, it is in order to conclude that angels are at work whenever a believer kneels down to pray. Since the beginning, God ordained for man to humble himself in prayer, and to partner with Him in bringing His will here on earth as it is in heaven.
We are in season where God is increasing your capacity to tarry in His presence. Some might say that effective prayer is the one where your emotions are in agreement with what the spirit is doing however, the Holy Spirit spoke through Paul that we are to pray without ceasing(Thessalonians 5:16-18).
You may not always connect emotionally with this kind of persevering prayer but it yields tremendous fruit in the presence of God. The natural discipline of praying and pressing in for God has to come first, before you feel His presence; your flesh will catch up later.
In Mathew 26:40, Christ is dismayed that His disciples did not have the endurance to watch with Him for at least an hour. He is still asking you today to tarry in His presence, at least for an hour.
In Romans 7:15-20 Paul says, “For I do not understand my own actions,I am baffled, bewildered. I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe.”  In other words, things of the Spirit do not come easy to the natural man,  you have to put him under subjection and force him to lineup with your Spirit man. Your next level in prayer will not come easy, but you have to cultivate the discipline to stay in prayer even when your flesh doesn’t feel it.
In the tail end of this season of breaking the threshold in prayer, God is going to pour out times of refreshing to those that participate, and a unifying glory will be poured out to eradicate the profoundly deceiving differences that have been created by religion. He is also going to break the spiritual plateau that many have found themselves in and move pave way for you to move to the next level of glory with Him.
Unrelenting pursuit of God in prayer is what waters the faith that move mountains. You cannot  afford to remain where you are now, God is calling you and I to reprioritize our lives, and let Him have preeminence as Lord and Savior of our loves.
I know that prophecies have been given about the great move of God that is coming to the world, and the wealth transfer that God has laid up for the believer. Even though these words are true and they are the heart of the Father for us, someone has to birth them in prayer. Elijah prophesied of a coming sound of abundance in 1Kings 18:42 but he had to birth it in prayer, until the manifestation of a fist size cloud; you too have to birth your destiny in prayer and supplication.
The prophecies that have been spoken over your life will lay dormant until they are activated through travail in prayer. If you have been spending one hour in prayer, there is grace to go for two hours; we are to dwell, not visit the secret place of the most High.
